Buttermilk, when added to soap, creates a silky creamy lather which is perfect for sensitive skin.
Honey imparts a light, warm, sweet scent, the added sugar content helps increase the lather, and acts as a humectant. It is especially good for people with dry skin. Our honey is raw and comes from a local beekeeper in Mount Airy, MD.
Shea butter's unique fatty acid profile gives it the ability to moisturize and retain the elasticity of the skin. Shea butter can also help to protect the skin against the damaging effects of the sun while repairing cellular degeneration.
Cocoa Butter is a superb moisturizer which softens the skin and slows down moisture loss.
